Welcome to Linton Music Society!

Six great concerts make up Linton Music Society's new season with diverse programmes and wonderful artists. Tickets are available at the prices below, but do join as a Member this year to both support your local organisation and gain savings on ticket prices. Six concerts cost £46, or £42 (concessions) for LMS members.

An evening of light entertainment by the region's premier brass group, with music including Benny Goodman's Sing Sing Sing, Pee Wee Ellis' The Chicken, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, and La La Land !

John Lenehan one of Britain's most experienced, versatile and sought-after pianists, presents 'feel-good' silent films from the early days of the cinema, accompanying them with music by Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Lenehan.

Solarek Piano Trio


This long established group has toured extensively through Britain and Europe. They have given performances at London’s South Bank, St Johns, Smith Square and St. David’s Hall, Cardiff.

The concert features the fascinating Clara and Robert Schumann - Johannes Brahms triangle with readings of letters between Clara and Johannes, and music by all three composers:

Dodo Street Band


Described as 'the last word in Celtic Gypsy Klezmer'. A contagious epidemic of folk in a joyously wild maverick mix.

Dodo Street Band combine fiddle virtuosity from international star Adam Summerhayes, outrageous brilliance from world number one recorder genius Piers Adams, accordion master Murray Grainger, bass legend Malcolm Creese and dazzling bodhran playing from  multi-award-winning king of folk percussion, Cormac Byrne

Lux Musicae London

Dowland's Denmark


The brilliant ensemble featuring harp, lute, recorders, voices and viol bring us back to baroque music by John Dowland and other musicians who stayed at the Royal Court of Christian IV of Denmark which was at the time the centre of music and dancing excellence.

A grant from the Brighton Early Music Festival has enabled us to hold this concert in Linton.

Moonrakers is an Oxford-based group of four musicians, some from the classical and some from the folk tradition.

Traditional and contemporary folk music - musical excellence and humour with masters of the fiddle, bouzouki, guitar, whistle, bodhran and voice.
